Why is there now a character limit?

Hello Timothy,
When the new site was implemented, it included character limits. I updated your account so that it is no longer on probation, which means you'll have 10,000 characters (double what you can post on a blogger.com comment) and no time limit between posts.

I would have updated it for you sooner but I was actually on a work retreat and had limited internet access at that time. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with though :-)

2 bug reports (using Google Chrome).

1) When clicking on a blog post title, the home page is shown despite the url being changed. The url should be a direct link to the post in question.

2) Clicking a Thumbs-Up or Thumbs-Down does not seem to work correctly. No rating increment is shown in your own browser. Sometimes pop-ups are shown saying "You already rated this," even on the first attempt to rate a post.

Thanks for the report. I will work on it as time permits. I tested the thumbs up/down feature out on your comment above and it appears to work in Firefox. I didn't do much testing on Chrome, but will test it when I'm able to.

As for error # 1, I do know what the issue is there and will try to fix it in the next few minutes :-)

I believe this issue is now resolved. Please let me know if you still find any problems! Thanks!

Norton Safe Web blocked your site for me today. The explanation was 'Annoyance factor: 1'. Not sure what that means, but it may be worth contacting Norton so that Norton users aren't dissuaded from visiting.

Thanks, Steve. I went to Norton's website and it was extremely unhelpful on this. It does give me the specific page it claims caused the problem, which is a page I never created and also cannot find when looking at my file directory. I've got a ticket in with my web provider right now to see if they can figure out what's going on with it.
